| Taking the bull by the horns, designer Charles de Buyer sends the Boker Plus Tavros—Greek for bull—into the arena as a spirited fixed-blade EDC knife. The French knifemaker behind Opus Knives, now based in Canada, approaches knife design as an art form, placing exceptional emphasis on detail and expression.
Featuring a progressive design, the Tavros is equipped with a Persian-style D2 blade with a refined satin finish, paired with durable black G10 handle scales. The blade’s sweeping silhouette echoes the powerful horns of a bull, while the designer’s signature teardrop cutout delivers the unmistakable “evil eye.” Everyday cutting tasks—such as breaking down cardboard or opening packaging—become the symbolic red cape that unleashes the Tavros’ full potential. Ergonomic handle recesses, a full-length tang, and a well-defined thumb rest ensure a comfortable grip, maximum stability, and confident control during use. A lanyard hole at the end of the handle adds carry versatility. For those bold enough to handle its fiery temperament, the Tavros comes supplied with a perfectly fitted Kydex sheath with belt clip. |
